ACS Discretionary Allocation and Performance Report

Thistopic will be used to share the performance of ACS.

The entire campaign will be divided into 10 seasons, with each season lasting 10 days. The team will adjust the eligible assets for TVL-based allocation and modify each team’s ACS allocation for discretionary allocation every season. ACS distribution will be reflected on a daily basis.

Soneium Creator Contest (0.5%): Encourages community creativity through a meme contest by SoneFi, aiming to boost Soneium’s TVL and foster a meme-driven economy. Kicking off with Season 5, the contest will feature both daily and seasonal winners through the end of the ACS campaign. More details will be shared through SoneFi and Astar’s official channels.

ACS Allocations for Discretionary Projects in Season 9

No new projects are joining in Season 9.

ACS allocations for Season 9 are determined based on quantitative factors(primarily gas consumption) and qualitative factors(ASTR utility, attracting real users, marketing impact, etc.).

Due to reduced onchain activity in Season 8, the Season 9 discretionary reward pool has been reduced by 3.1 million ACS.

With your ASTR reward, you can participate in dApp Staking via Neemo Finance, Astake Finance, or through the Astar Portal.

For users who participated in SuperVol with an AA wallet, the SuperVol team will distribute rewards directly, instead of using the claim page.

The claim window will remain open for 30 days.

The Astar Contribution Score (ACS) Campaign has fully concluded with the claim period now officially over. Over the course of 100 days, the campaign brought together builders, users, and partners across the Soneium ecosystem, resulting in strong participation, increased onchain activity, and meaningful progress in expanding the utility of ASTR.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed. This campaign marked an important step in positioning ASTR as a central asset across both Soneium and the broader Superchain network.

Before diving into performance metrics, here’s a brief overview of the campaign:

Goal: Encourage the adoption and utility of ASTR within Soneium, while laying the groundwork for future expansion across the Superchain.
Campaign Period: February 20 to May 30, 2025 (100 days)
Claim Period: June 10 to July 10, 2025 (30 days)
Budget: Up to 100 million ASTR (80,266,641.4 ASTR was actually distributed)
Mechanism: Participants earned ACS points through onchain activity such as providing liquidity, using dApps, or joining community campaigns. These points were later exchanged for ASTR rewards.

Soneium Creator Contest by SoneFi: 3,333,333 ACS was distributed for the meme contest. The contest lasted from Season 5 to Season 8, and 1,666,666 unused ACS were returned to the treasury.
Astar Expansion NFTs: 5,000,000 ACS were distributed to Soneuim Astar Expansion NFT holders.

Soneium’s TVS

After the campaign ended, TVS decreased 214.88 million to 152.22 million (-29%), mainly due to a decrease in SolvBTC.BBN. Most of the USDC and ASTR supply remains on Soneium after the campaign. The amounts of each asset on Jun 10 and on July 10 are as follows:
- SolvBTC.BBN: 351.09 → 132.63 (-62%)
- USDC: 23.37 million → 23.57 million (+1%)
- ASTR: 410.02 million → 315.62 million (-23%)
- wstASTR: 120.39 million → 144.25 million (+20%)

These roundtables served as focused spotlight events, offering each project a platform to share how they were contributing to the ACS campaign and leveraging Astar’s infrastructure.

8 blog articles were published for ACS. The blogs covered everything from campaign overviews and participation guides to detailed breakdowns of allocation strategies and real-time ecosystem impact.

Conclusion

The ACS Campaign marked a key milestone for the Soneium ecosystem and ASTR’s role within it. Over 100 days, we saw real traction — increased onchain activity, deeper ASTR adoption, and stronger collaboration across teams and communities.

Though the campaign has ended, its effects are still visible. ASTR remains active across key applications, and many participating projects continue to build and grow.

As mentioned, only 80,266,641.4 ASTR were claimed at the end of the ACS campaign. As promised, the unclaimed funds (19,733,360 ASTR) have been returned from the Soneium claim contract to the on-chain Treasury.
